Easy Pizza Recipe with Store-Bought Crust

When I want to make a good pizza quickly for the family I like to use ready-made pizza dough. I recommend buying a good quality one, from your convenience grocery store. I like to get one that's an Italian brand. Another good choice would be Trader Joe's. It's a convenient option when looking for store-bought pizza dough and dinner would be ready in no time. Mama Sinmi's Red Sauce pairs so well with a pizza recipe...and why wouldn't it - IT GOES WITH ANYTHING!
INGREDIENTS
1 bag pizza dough ( I use pre-made dough)
16 oz Mama Sinmi's Red Sauce
2 tsp dried herbs pizza/pasta blend or oregano/parsley
1/2 tsp dried pepper flakes
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp parmesan cheese for topping
1 pinch Salt
8 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup toppings Ham, Salami, Chicken, Prosciutto (optional)
2 tbsp basil chopped
COOKING DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
Prepare sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Place your crust on top.
Drizzle and brush on the extra virgin olive oil onto the crust and edges of the dough to soften it, yet make it crispier.
While preheating the oven during this time, prep toppings.
Slice your tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. Chop your basil
Add the sauce, any dried herbs, cheese, and other toppings. Sprinkle the crust with parmesan and a light sprinkle of salt. Add pizza sauce, dried herbs, cheese, and other toppings.
Bake the pizza for 8-12 minutes, removing it when the cheese has melted. Sprinkle chopped basil and allow the pizza to cool a few minutes before slicing and serving.
